Torrey Francis Malek (T.F. Malek) is an American poet, writer, orator, and essayist from Greenville, Delaware. In 2009, he was named Poet Laureate of the Valley Forge Military Academy as a sophomore. His poetry has been recognized broadly, earning a spot on the Shortlist for the 2023 Letter Review Prize for Poetry. His work has appeared in The Broadkill Review, Big Wing Review, and Plants & Poetry Journal, along with many other publications, literary journals, and online blogs. Torrey’s debut poetry chapbook, Glory Hill, and his book of essays, Hoopes: Reflections in the Reservoir, are set for publication later this year.
