Torrey Francis Malek, also known as T.F. Malek, is an American poet, writer, orator, and essayist from Greenville, Delaware. Named Poet Laureate of Valley Forge Military Academy in 2009 as a sophomore, he has since earned recognition for his poetry, including a place on the shortlist for the 2023 Letter Review Prize for Poetry. His work has appeared in The Broadkill Review, Dreamstreets Literary Magazine, Plants & Poetry Journal, and other literary journals, publications, and online platforms. Rooted in memory, family history, and the landscapes of Delaware, his writing balances intimacy, reflection, and a strong sense of place. He is currently completing two forthcoming books, Glory Hill, his debut poetry chapbook, and Hoopes, a collection of essays.

Since 2020, Torrey has been a licensed officiant with the Universal Life Church, bringing warmth, authenticity, and personalization to his wedding ceremonies and celebrations of life. His approach is tailored to each couple and family, ensuring that every ceremony reflects their unique story, values, and vision. Beyond officiating, he also offers guidance on the wedding process to make the experience as seamless and meaningful as possible.
